We understand that not everyone is ready to become a foster parent. These children need foster parents, but there are other ways to support this valuable ministry and impact lives right here in our Northwest Florida communities.
The 1890 Society is named for the year our ministry was founded. This society serves to provide a firm foundation for kids and families in need, by choosing Embrace Florida Kids as a beneficiary of their will, trust, insurance, estate bequest, or legacy gift.
We also appreciate Facebook birthday fundraisers for Embrace Florida Kids as well as gifts in memory or honor of a loved one. We are happy to guide you in this process if you need help.
In-person opportunities are limited due to sensitivity, privacy, and safety issues. We do have many community advocates and supporters in our schools and churches who raise funds, collect necessary donations (for our foster families and our teens), and provide tutoring, fellowship, social opportunities, and more. Contact us for suggestions.
We would love the opportunity to share our story! You can help us raise awareness by connecting us with civic clubs, church groups, and other organizations where we might share information on how to become involved. Contact us to arrange for someone to speak to your group.
